In the last few days,i try every posible way to make working silage bunker,or grain storage, and all ways fail on me.Whatever you do silage wont stop at any tip collision i try to make.Tip collision info layer not working, objects with tip collision also wont work,so it is totally broken, very sad.
I think giants should do something about that, cause if it stay this way,it is a big shame on the company, and all of us who buy this game,we are very frustrated,do something about this please!

Bump

Are you talking about placing a new silage bunker in a map? If so I haven't gotten that far yet with the map I'm working on. Can you explain a little better the problem your having so I can try to duplicate it on my blank working map. With two of us working, and discussing it, it might give Giants a little bit more information and incentive. Although I don't think they pay much attention to post on this forum. Tarja, what other forums do you visit? I do the Giants Software forums here "https://forum.giants-software.com/" and am going to sign up for the UK FS site - forum too because like the German sites, Giants pays more attention to them, and I don't do German. I checked out that link Michael posted in the thread about the fields, very nice.

about tip collision in the new GE 7.0.3 there is a new script available to rebuild and save the grle file.

Look at this :

Thanks James,i would check it out,but making new silage bunker is still big,big problem, cause silage still spils all over the place,i update the game to 1.3 but problem is not solved. It is strange cause, grain or silage dont respond to any collision item you made.Really frustrating.Maybe i found something on this forum, thank you guys!

It's working (tested with self-made collision)
Only thing is what i've noticed : have to delete the map01.i3d.colMap.grle by hand, then generate via GE script a new one. And probably check the collision masks too.

Made a box, 2 side walls and a rear all 3 with collision boxes added, Sides work but silage always spill out of the back wall.

all 3 walls are identlcal...... Any ideas?

James Norred (Cajunwolf) 15.11.2016 06:29
Did you set the collision mask bit 19 on the back wall? Setting this is supposed to keep anything from getting beneath it. Also, have you tried painting the info layer under the back wall, and having it recreate the ground collision map? Be sure too that you have the user attribute collision height set to the height of the back wall.

Does not seem to matter James.

I am clueless!

Yeah, me too. I mean it took me a bit to make it work on my test map, but it was little mistakes I was making by not watch what I was doing (I'm bad about typo's), but I got it to work with chaffed corn. It almost sounds like it might be something going on preventing it from working, you know, the old can't forest for the trees syndrome. It's probably staring you right in the face.
