Good evening all and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it.

I have a problem with this map that I am working on.In the Paintbrush for Foliage, I can paint my map with all the different layers of grass, fruit and terrain details like wild flowers. All of the items that come standard with the Giants Editor. In the Giants Editor.... everything looks great.

That being said, when I export it over to the game none of the foliage shows up at all. The only two foliage brushes that do show up in the game is town grass and the forest grass. Nothing else.

Can someone tell me if there is something I should be looking at such as a script somewhere that maybe has gone corrupt? Is there a file somewhere that I can replace?

Thanks for the help. I really do appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Lloyd O Boyette

Hi Lloyd

Did you start a new game after painting the foliages? Cause your changes to the foliages won't show up if you're using an existing gamesave.

And you're using GE 7.0.3, right?

Cheers :)

No, I didn't start a new game. I've been using the same Save Game to check my work and verify changes as I complete them. And... I just loaded a new game and low and behold... all the foliage is there. Don't I feel silly.

And no, I've been keeping up with the changes so I am using 7.0.5.

Cheers mate. I really appreciate the reply. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why the hell that foliage wouldn't show up. I keep a blog tracking the progress of my map. You are more than welcome to follow it. I will have some new screenshots to post later this afternoon.

Hi Lloyd - Glad it worked out for you :) No need to feel silly. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of factors that goes into making maps and mods. We'll never stop learning :)
