Please help. I have weeks invested in my South Africa map I'm building and suddenly I get an error "Warning: Failed to load collision map 'C:/Users/mmyporta/Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2017/mods/South_Africa/maps/map01.i3d.colMap.grle'. Creating empty collision map." I have no idea what it is or what it does... 1) You can create a collision map manually by Scripts -> FS17 -> Map -> Create Ground Collision Map. 2) All your sounds are missing: "Error: Can't load resource .... *.wav" 3) If you duplicate a script object (BunkerSilo_cowSilo) you have to make sure, it gets a unique ID. |

Thanks a lot. AIways nice when somone with knowledge replies.Managed to clear all the errors. Sound folder was in the wrong place and I have deleted the second bunker although it did have a different ID. Map still won't load though. It worked perfectly before even with the 2 bunkers. Is that all? No errors/warnings in log? That's bad - no hint about an error. Does the GE "editor_log.txt" contain valuable infos? Is the modmap recognized by game at all? Does it appear in mod overview? Did you checkmark it? However seems, it is loaded and breaks before 2sec. That's much too short for a map. Without any clue one can say .. nothing. Hopefully you have a backup or can remember what you changed before failure. You could try an "export all with files". This should reorganize the i3d. Sometimes it helps. |

you need to also check in GE for errors in the console.Make shure that thier is not any other mod in your mods folder that is causing problem,it looks like it loaded your map,you also have to start a new game when you make some of the changes to your map. |

The tipCollision is new for FS17 and it's purpose is to allow you to dump stuff anywhere on the ground except where the tip collision is painted on the surface. This by default under roads, train tracks, rivers & lakes, and (this might interest you) under the walls of the silage bunkers and the lot round the bunkers. Once this is painted then you run the script to create a new ground collision mesh. You have to be careful when importing silos from other maps that you don't take this collision mesh into consideration. As to the map not reloading, surely you have a recent backup,right? You might also try, after making a backup, is using an earlier savegame too; sometimes that will work. |

Thanks to you all for the most helpful information. I managed to get all errors away but sadly after trying a couple more things, I have decided I will have to restart my map. Like an idiot I didn't keep a working backup ( a mistake I will not make again ). Happy modding guys !!!! wife's gonna be really P'd off |

I belive that it the game tring to updata the new mods list from FS17 if your not online it cant downLoad list in the mods section at game menu. |
