| Environment = GE 7.1.0 I have GE default installed but cannot navigate using the WASD keys. All ALT + Left/Centre/Right mouse movements work correctly. Have I done something wrong, or missing something, or just being a "Noob"? :-) |

| I'm having the same issue. I can use WASD if I hold down the right mouse button. I'm not sure if that's the intended behavior or not, but it's certainly arduous to do so. |

| Are you using a laptop/notebook? The Giants editor expects a 'standard' keyboard driver and layout. However many laptops have custom drivers and the GE might not be able to handle the input. |

| Nope, just a boring keyboard that I've had for years on a PC. I tried another mouse, but not another keyboard. I'll see if I can dig one up. Is there any way to change the button mapping or, more specifically, the direction of the zoom on the mouse? It feels backwards to me. Thank you for the reply. |

| Same problem here. I can't move around with the WASD keys either. I guess nobody ever found a solution. Just another reason to hate Giants Editor. It's the least intuitive, most difficult program to use I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. It's like Giants doesn't want people to mod anything by giving us this horrible program that we have to use to do it with. . |

| The GE is just simply a tool for the needs of Giants developers. Be happy that it is available for public usage at all. You did buy the GAME - all other are extras provided voluntary. And you can't expect neither bug-free nor improvements. |

| Yeah, I bought THE GAME voluntarily, and you can't expect me to be happy with a buggy tool that is provided even if it is free. Furthermore, you can't expect me to be happy with a lame response like that either. You should be happy that I bought your game and respond in a polite and helpful manner. Instead you are hostile and arrogant. Well there are plenty of other simulator games out there with decent customer service, next time I'll buy one of those. I'll tell my friends to do the same. |

| Who cares? And FYI: I'm NOT a Giants employee. But I have 30+ years experience in software development and I know that developer tools are built for developers and not for rookies. In opposite to others (like you) I have no problem using the GE or other Giants utilities. Nobody forces you playing the FS, buy another game. But you'll find that barely one has similar easy modding properties like the FS. |
