I'd try again. I edited the Valtra N series tractors without much issue. Keep an eye on your logs, both the editor_log.txt and game log.txt.

After you export the tractor with option "new mod from the game" you must look carefully at some things.Best approach to do that is that you use the option in the editor "Publish Mod".
After you choose this option you would get new window opened.In This new window you can choose the name for the model and language,after that you can write the description about the model.Next stage is to find the path of the icon you wanna use,and which would be visible in the mod page right beside the name of the mod.
After that you do the same for the store icon,choose the right path for this icon.
After you done all this steps,and if you are done it corectly,click ok and export the ZIP file.
After you put this zip file in the mod folder you are good to go.This is working 1000 percent believe me.

Hi

I am also trying to export from game. Ihave no errors in the log in GE, but it does not show up un game.
I checked with the same, working mod from Stevie, and i can see that he has additional files in his mod (shaders/shared and support)

And, finally....how do i set up the moddesc......

Martin Night (Unknown) 23.11.2018 12:25
Shaders and Shared folders would be exported automaticly.And if you read my previos comment i explained hows it should be done.
There is two ways to set up the moddesc XML.
1.you can set it up using notepad ++,if you know what are you doing,and
2 you can set it up using the option in the editor called "Publish Mod".Like i said earlyer it's pretty straigh forward.
There is no reason to had any problems with exporter,and you can easily open the i3d file with the notepad and check the all files manualy and they exported locations.And if you still have problems with shaders just copy the shaders manualy in the folder and just asign them using the notepad.
But it's totally necesary to do that,cause giants editor do all that stuff for you without the problems.

Hi

Tried once again like you explained in youre previous post.

Still not showing up in mod list/overview in game.

Found a solution.
Missing title in moddesc seems to make a difference.

Best regards
Bjørn

Im glad you are get arround this problem,of course not only title,one letter spelled wrong in the moddesc would mess your mod and it wont show up in the game.

Color configuration has become very easy in FS19.
The vehicles I saw so far, have in xml
<baseMaterial>
<material name="mat_name" baseNode="node">
<shaderParameter name="colorMat0" value=".."/>
</material>
</baseMaterial>

Now you can add easily a color choice like
<baseMaterialConfigurations price=".." useDefaultColors="true" defaultColorIndex="1">
<material name="mat_name" shaderParameter="colorMat0" />
</baseMaterialConfigurations>

I've done this in several vehicles. Works like a charme. *g*

so I still cant seem to do it spent ages trying , wondering if someone can do a JD 7r from base game and upload some where I can get it from to compare files to my edit to see where im going wrong and thanks to everyone that has taken the time to help

Martin Night (Unknown) 24.11.2018 10:45
It's not a problem in files Steve,you definetely doing something wrong when you exporting zip file.One line in the moddesc XML can have great impact,and that's why your mod is not showing in the game.You obviously making errors in this XML file.If you read previos posts you can see that Bjorn also had similar problem and he corrected it,it turns out that he dint write properly this moddesc.
Same thing it's happen to you.

And here you go:

I checked your mod and i figured out that your zip file which you exported with the GE 8 doesn't contain anything.so you obviously make a error when you do the exporting.Problem number 2: when you make a names for a zip files,which you intend to put in MOD folder,you cant never use the space in them.So it can be my_JD,but you cant never use the name my JD with a space.Game doesn't read the spaces,and most likely this is the main reason why your mods never show up.
So try to do everything one more time and remember no SPACES!
Good luck.

@martin how to register sale trigger fs19?

Arjen Paulusma (arjen) 28.11.2018 16:35
thank you so much everybody. i had exactly the same issues, but these tips helped me a lot!

Martin Night (Unknown) 29.11.2018 17:38
@Sergiy it's very complicated process but i try to explain to you.

First you need the folder named placeables,this folder is in the DATA folder of the main FS 19 game.you must check this path: DATA/placeables/mapUS.In this folder you can find all kind of triggers,trigers for woods,bales,or generic triggers which you can call sale triger.Now you must use this folder placeables,copy all folder somewhere in your new map folder.In the folder placeables choose the folder selling station this is the folder that contain trigger which you are looking for.It's called selling station generic.After you use this trigger and after you place it in the map you must do some serios XML stuff.
Every trigger have they own xml and you need to sets right paths,names for the stations,prices for the crops...it's very,very painfull and hard work.
You need also to make the new XML for every new station,and set the parameters,for which kind of trigger you wanna use,and path of that trigger.You need also set corect names in Giants editor,for every new station.
It's complitely impossible to explain in every detail,but i hope you pickup some details from this...
And yea if you are not very good at scripting and editing XMLs you would most likely failed,because maping in FS 19 i much more advanced than for FS 17.Editing all this triggers parameters is not for beginners.You can't expect that i would teach you and make you to be a pro scripter based on just one post here in the forum...LOL
I would like to do that if it's possible but that's not the reality,so i can give you just some markers and the rest is up to you...
Good luck!
