Hello. I'm trying to learn how to mod by going through the video tutorials but on chapter 3 it says I need a map sdk and theres supposed to be a link at the bottom of the video but it is missing. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

The mod/map SDK is available on the FS DVD in folder "sdk".

Is that to say the sdk is only available on the dvd version of the game on not the steam version? I have the steam version of farming simulator 2019 and it does have an sdk folder and a mapUS subfolder. Is that not the map sdk? I'm also trying to work with scripting and I keep getting errors when trying to call functions. I think the problem is I'm missing lua library files in shared/foundation. Perhaps those are on the dvd as well?

The DVD vs. contains more stuff, eg. the GE setup and miscellaneous other.

The default LUA scripts are embedded in the game code. You find the documentation here.
External LUAs exist only for custom, self-written code.

You no longer need a Map SDK for FS19 (there reference you used was for fs15/17). You can simply click File->"New Mod from Game" and select the map you want to start using as a base for the mod.

Ok thanks.

There is a modmap SDK on the Video Tutorials DVD. But the tutorials are very buggy. It is impossible to go step by step through the instruction because you will get errors in your map, e.g. the water plane needs more input than in the tutorial is given.
