how does one turn down the wind noise on modded map, the DE version , at center of map from east side to west side there is a lot of wind noise.

See the map.xml <sounds filename=".." - This sound.xml links to a sound.i3d.
In the xml you have global sound settings, in the i3d you can 'fine-tune' specific sound sources.
