Hello Giants, As always, I wanted to rebuild something on a Mod Map, but now the Giants Editor 8.1.0 does not want to open a Mod Map and Standard Map anymore. A gray background appears. I can in the window "Sencegraph" e.g. select "roads", but nothing is displayed by a map. The latest graphics card driver and Windows 10 update are installed. I have a Windows 10 64bit system Editor log: GIANTS Engine Runtime 8.0.0 (18339) 64bit (Build Date: Feb 9 2019) Copyright (c) 2008-2019, GIANTS Software GmbH (giants-software.com), All Rights Reserved. Check the GE Prefences for proper path to game install. |

What exactly do I have to do there? |

*sigh* In GE select File -> Preferences. In tab General -> Game Installation -> Path you specify/select the folder where the FS19 game is installed. Probably you didn't install the game properly (without admin rights), so the Win registry couldn't be updated and the path is unknown. You'll might also get problems with a game update/patch if the path is unknown. |

I went as before as they explained it to me. I opened the GE and am on: "File" and opened the window "Preferences". Then I made the installation path again. (C: / Program Files (x86) / Farming Simulator 2019 / x64) Unfortunately when opening the "x64" folder came only the message "No search results were found". |

In your case the INSTALL path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Farming Simulator2019\" Honestly - if you don't have the slightest knowledge about Windows basics, you should even think about modding. |

Who says that I am a modder? I'm building maps for myself and adjusting them. I do not need Windows knowledge for that. Everyone starts small! But I see, here I can not be helped ... That's why we let that lie and I'll have to lend a hand myself ... Kind regards |

Modding a map for yourself is still modding, therefore technically making you a "modder"... :) :) |

Okay, may be. But still, I am just a beginner and must first learn it ... |

bilbo, why come onto a forum made for helping people, if you're just gonna be a fucking asshole? at one point you knew nothing about this shit, so please remove yourself from your high horse. absolute cunt. |

Jonathon, Why do you feel the need to be so absolutely rude and swear on an open developers forum. Perhaps if you're angry it's best not to post, especially since that appears to be your first. Really hoping a moderator removes the profanities, please. |

This is not a forum, but a children's garden ... What is a forum for? To get an answer ... And not to get a statement: You can let that be ... or something similar ... Such stupid answers you can please put in the ass ... And only the people really realizes and want to help, I ask for an answer. |

Why does GDN allow this kind of language. I had thought this was a professional site. |

Having the same concern. Did you ever find a fix? doesn't look like your post helped you a whole lot. thanks for any information you can give. |
