| uh? That's no problem - I have installed GE 5,6,7,8. If you double-click on i3d, you'll get a requester which editor you want to use. You should install manually into folders you created before. I'd recommand normal folders, NOT into "C:\program files ..". Best is another drive/partition. |

| thanks for reply. your sec line there is the one that i can't get. (the requester) no matter how i install, only the last one is active. |

| You must install the GE "as administrator" else the filetype '.i3d' isn't associated automatically. You should always install anything "as admin." to go sure that everything is setup properly. |
