| Hi! GE for me has stopped working correctly. It runs but remains minimised on the taskbar. The info box on startup shows ok and there is nothing of note in the text log. I did a new install and it is still the same. The only thing that happened recently was an AVG virus checker update. I gave permision for GE to run in AVG (which has never been needed) Any Ideas? |

| It happens often that some anti-malware software makes trouble with certain games or related programs. But sometimes it is also caused by a Windows update. It is always wise to install the game/program NOT in "C:\programs.." but in a neutral folder, not supervised by Windows UAC/DEP. Recommanded is another drive/partition, so the program doesn't share the drive buffer with system. If you can clearly assign the trouble to your AV software, make shure the program AND its user folder is in the "white list" (exceptions) of the AV program. |

| Hi! Figured this out, right click on the GE icon and select properties, then select the run drop down and change it to maximised. Why this happened to change I do not know. |

| This workaround is useful after a Windows update, if certain screen/window parameters or constants have been changed. Could be also helpful then to delete the editor.xml in GE user folder, so the GE can re-initialize it. |
