| can someone help please I am new to all this and trying to teach myself I am old and do not know much about computers, I have learnt everything up to now but I do not know how to get my xml files for the map all I have is i3d files i have downloaded notepad++ but I am stuck |

| Create a modmap by the Giants editor menu File -> New Mod from Game, this will write all necessary files and you'll see which files are needed for a complete modmap. More help you'll get by the Video Tutorials here on GDN, but also from the many guides around in web. Just a little warning: You don't need to be PC expert, but a basic amount of OS knowledge is required for modding, else you are lost. |
