| Hi can someone help. I`ve reload some old deleted files of maps I had given up on but now I know what to do with them. But there not in readable text, how do I get them back to readable text. |

| I've no idea what you mean? Example? In general none of the map files is in text format, apart from xml (style) files. |

| I still don't understand what this is about? If you have removed a file from map (folder) and insert it later again, it doesn't change its content or format. Unless you have made a gross mistake. But no one knows that except yourself. |

| No. A recovery program can only restore deleted files immediately after deleting. After some time the content on drive is overwritten by other files. Time to think about a backup strategy? |
