There is no Auto Convert function, otherwise there would be an icon for it on the toolbar.

There is no icon - and wasn't ever.
Like the earlier GE8 a conversion is tried if you do (menu/file) "load mod". This will execute some very rough basic conversions. But don't expect total conversion for more complex mods.
