I'm having problems exporting textures from Blender to Giants Editor. I'm a total noob so apologies if this is an obvious question.
I create a model in Blender - Apply material and texture to the model. When rendered in Blender (F12) the textures appear correctly, but once exported to Giants they do not show up. The colour of the surface is changed in line with the texture, but the texture itself is not there (I have checked the path to the texture file and it is correct).
Can anybody help with how to export textures to Giants.

|I have also the problem, if i used UV-Textures. To solve the problem i have to load the UV-Tex-Image as a normal Texture Image into Blender, then the export is ok.

|Hi James and Michael,
We provide the full source code of the Blender Exporter. Having a look into the source code of the exporter could maybe help

Thanks for the reply - Do you mean that you switch to using materials / textures, or that you still use the UV texture but also with the image loaded as a normal texture?

yes how to say, i use both: In the Material i have the UV-Tex (you get it usual if you unwrap an Object), and then i load the prepared UV-Tex additional into an normal Image-Tex.
So as you said i use both, UV-Tex and Image-Tex
@ Christian: In the Readme i can finde following:
- Fixed UV export
Can you tell me who fixed it? Maybe this person can help us. I double checked the source py, but on the first view i saw nothing of interest.

Why doesn't Giants just fix it already? We want to create objects for the game, not repair your code for you.
