| Hi, as we know blender 2.8 is almost released, it's in "release candidate" stadium - I'm using it for a while and I'd like to make tutorials because it's more beginer friendly but there isn't I3D exporter for it and to export objects I have to export it to 2.79 and then to i3d which is annoying - do you have any plans to release it? |

| so your going to make un informed tutorials showing your mistakes to the world ? Theres plenty of them already ... Also your doing it wrong, u dont even export to 2.79 , u Append in 2.79 . Dont know what it is, look it up. |

| He wants to export from 2.8, which the plugin will not do. The plugin, when used in 2.8, tells you that you have to update 2.8.x to 2.8.x to use it. Possibly the uninformed person is not the OP. Perhaps install 2.8.0 and see what he is referring to before going off the rails on him. Or better, actually read what he is asking for. |

| yeah hence im saying its APPEND to get stuff into 2.79, not export from 2.8 to 2.79. Also at that time he posted, Blender was still on RC2/3, not release ... And yeah i get PO when theres ppl still wanting to post the same how-to's over and over again, all making the same basic mistakes cause they want followers. Oh and incase your havent noticed, I've been using blender for over 3-4 years now, Dont really need to install it .... |

| @Jorn Hiel I get your point but I found few good ways how to "speed up"/"increase quality" process of creating a map/textures so I wanted to share with ppl by myself I spent too much time to get it ;). (With proper tools like a SAS Planet, "camera projecting") ALSO - It's BLENDER 2.8 - it's so beginer friendly that there's a higher chance that they will stay for longer and learn it . In my case - I was coming back to blender like at least 5times before I appreciated it ;p As far as I know (DC chat) Giants have not in plans to release add-on for blender 2.8 yet |
