|I don't know if this is a feature. I couldn't see it anywhere. If it is, I'd like to know.
A lot of the signage within the game that is seen by the player(s) has text in a certain language. It would be great to be able to have the ability to display a .dds based upon the language the player has chosen for the game. In that manner, de would display a .dds that says "gerste" while en would display "barley".
Is that possible now?

|This would also fall within display language. It would also be nice for the mods that get downloaded to be in the language that you speak so you do not have to minimize steam and use a language translator.

Surly this would be possible, but an image has (or should have) the advantage to be understandable without text.
All you would need is to get the currently used language and load the corresponding image.
Second solution: render text at the bottom of the image for example
(Advantage: less texture memory used and easier to translate because no new image is needed)
We can't do anything to fix mods.
If a mod is missing a language (not everybody knows how to speak english, french, polish and japanese) then this 'failure' is caused by the modder.
It has absolutly nothing to do with GIANTS.
We do translate our game into a lot of languages, but we can't force everybody to translate their mods' texts into every language ;)
And automatic translation is still far away from being perfect.
As long as an english translation is present it should be sufficient (just my opinion)
But you are right, it would be nice if modders translate more of their content.
Nevertheless i fully understand them if they don't do it ;)
